Toiletpaper × Seletti: Umbrella

A collaboration between Toiletpaper Home and the Italian design brand Seletti, this collection of wood-handled umbrellas features darkly humorous images by Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari—the creative duo behind the picture-based magazine Toiletpaper, which they cocreated in 2010. Cattelan and Ferrari fuse the vernacular of commercial image-making with Surrealist wit. Umbrella designs include hands holding scarlet lipsticks, a typist wearing thimbles, and an open mouth with “SHIT” written on the teeth.
