Venyx × Man Ray: Observatory Time Choker

Designed by Eugenie Niarchos for Venyx World, the Observatory Time Choker is inspired by Lee Miller’s lips as depicted in Man Ray’s iconic Surrealist painting A l’heure de l’observatoire, les Amoureux (Observatory Time, The Lovers, 1932–34). Commemorating their relationship with a powerful symbol of desire, Man Ray envisioned the massive lips floating above a landscape as “two closely joined bodies” and featured the painting in numerous photographs juxtaposing figures and still-life objects.

Crafted from 36 grams of 18-karat gold and adorned with 12 carats of brilliant diamonds, the Observatory Time Choker blends art, history, and luxury into a statement piece. Available in four color options, the cord is interchangeable.
